Dicker Data has inked a distribution deal with notebook vendor, Asus.
Under the deal, Dicker will take on the P, B and PL business notebook series machines.
Dicker business manager, Tony Trinh, said the Asus range was complementary to its existing notebook portfolio and it aims to target the SMB and corporate market.
“Asus have a different clientele and they’re traditionally known as a consumer brand, so it we’ll be giving our customers another choice in that segment,” Trinh said.
Dicker joins Ingram Micro, Synnex and Altech Computers in the distribution stable.
Asus product manager, Shawn Yen, said the relationship with Dicker, will help enhance its commercial and SMB offerings.
“As technology advances and businesses continue to become more mobile, the SMB market offers a huge opportunity for Asus,” Yen said in a statement. “Our B, P and PL notebooks are designed specifically for corporate use, and having Dicker Data on board will allow us to further extend our reach into this market.”
