Network security solution provider, Endace, has appointed switch port solution provider, Newgen, as its latest channel partner.
Newgen will be involved in marketing Endace’s suite of network monitoring, packet capture and analysis and threat detection products. The collaboration was announced at the annual information security conference, AusCERT, where Endace demonstrated its monitoring and recording platform technology.
Endace has been servicing local telecommunication providers from its New Zealand base but has now recognised new business opportunities in the government sector, financial sector and elsewhere in the ASX 100.
The company has signalled growth plans in Australia – its relationship with Melbourne-based Newgen is the first step in this strategy.
Endace APAC sales director, Neil Templeman, said Newgen has strong local service capabilities and an alignment to the vertical markets Endace wishes to penetrate.
