CA Technologies new partner program to strengthen ties in Asia-Pacific

Enhanced regional support through tiering of partners based on commitment, skills and experience

To help empower its partners with the skills and strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region, CA Technologies (NASDAQ:CA), an IT management software and solutions company, has recently rolled out its Asia-Pacific Partner Program.

The program aims to find and promote partners that have exceptional skills in implementing their solutions around CA Technologies products, and build a partner ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific that rewards partner efforts according to their level of focus and business model.

CA Technologies hopes that the focus on partner skills differentiation and business model tiering in the partner program will lead to a higher level of support for customers.

“Existing and potential clients looking for new opportunities can now take advantage of this exciting new program,” CA Technologies Asia-Pacific partners and alliances vice-president, Kwang-meng Tan, said.

“Through tier-based certification, we hope to build and recognise the skills of our partners so they can accelerate their efficiency even further and provide the highest level of products and services to their clients.”

To cultivate a successful partner ecosystem, CA Technologies has set different levels of membership in the program to ensure that partners with the right skills and business models complementing CA Technologies’ growth are not only recognised, but also rewarded.

Partners with a strong track record in systems integration and services offerings, as well as significant technical expertise and history in supporting customers in the Asia Pacific region, are expected to benefits greatly from the program.

“Partners that show commitment and a sound business plan are what we are looking for,” CA Technologies Australia senior director of channel sales, Klasie Holtzhausen, said.

“The quantity of partners joining the program is not as important to us as the quality, and our Australian partners are already reaping the benefits of cost reduction and improved efficiency following their induction into the program.”

In addition to getting certified by the partner program, CA Technologies partners also have the opportunity to become enabled through CA Partner Exchange (CAPE) Day, CSU Bootcamps, and numerous other training and certification initiatives.
