ICT services and solutions provider, Dimension Data Australia, has appointed Neil Campbell to the position of Director of Solutions, Australia.
A 10-year veteran with the company, Campbell, was formerly General Manager of Security, Global, for four years.
In this role, he led a 600-strong team and was responsible for more than 6000 clients in 51 countries.
In his new role, Campbell will manage the go-to market strategy for all solutions offerings including security, converged communications, customer interactive solutions, datacentre solutions, Microsoft solutions and network integration.
He will also manage vendor and partner relationships.

“Neil’s emphasis on maintaining and growing intellectual property, and engaging our clients through a consultative-led approach will help drive the success of our solutions business, as it has the global business he has run so successfully.”
Campbell joined Dimension Data Australia in 2002 as General Manager for the Security line of business. He then Campbell moved to the UK as Security Director, Europe, in 2007, before becoming Global General Manager, Security in 2008.
In his early career, Campbell worked in the general crime division of the Australian Federal Police in 1989, before specialising in cybercrime.
He replaces Duncan Brown who became Director of Services in October 2011.
Dimension Data has also annouced two other appointments: Darren O’Loughlin as General Manager for Connectivity and Security; Jason Ha as National Manager for Security.
O’Loughlin has been with Dimension Data since 2003 and was previously General Manager, Security. He also has a police back ground having spent nearly 16 years with Victoria Police where he rose to the rank of Detective Senior Constable before leaving 1999.
Jason Ha joined Dimension Data in 2005 as a security engineer. In his new role, he is responsible for the growth of Dimension Data’s security business across all regions in Australia.
