After signing a global managed mobility deal with SAP and Sybase late last year, technology outsourcing and consulting company, Capgemini, will co-develop a mobile sales solution with SAP.
The two companies recently signed a strategic agreement where Capgemini will create and develop SAP-based mobile solutions aimed at mobile sales execution
According to Capgemini mobile solutions global service line leader, Fernando Alvarez, what Capgemini has to offer is its background in mobile architecture design, implementation and hosting services
SAP, on the other hand, is expected to bring experience in back-end architecture, process consulting, custom development and technical optimisation to the table.
“This agreement builds on our strong relationship with SAP in the area of mobile,” he said.
As for how the partnership will benefit Capgemini, Alvarez expects it to enable the company to provide “further value” for customers as it builds and advises on solutions in an area where “mobile channels are developing at a rapid pace.”
