Wireless networking and hardware accessories maker, Belkin A/NZ, has signed a partnership with warehouse and logistics services provider, Cellnet Limited, as its new distributor to help it increase its presence in the telco channel.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cellnet will distribute Belkin’s smartphone and tablet accessories for Apple, Samsung and HTC along with WeMo, Belkin’s new home automation range.
The agreement will help Belkin tap Cellnet’s network of more than 1000 retail partners to capitalise on the growing market of smartphone and tablet markets, according to a statement.
Belkin A/NZ's telecoms business development manager, Jason Pollock, said, “Cellnet is the ANZ leader in telco accessories, supply chain services & distribution, making this partnership a natural choice. Through this distribution agreement we are strategically building our presence in this important and growing area for Belkin."
Belkin, which operates in several areas such as home automation, home entertainment, wireless networking and mobile accessories, is making a big push to expand into the channel, ARN previously reported. It also agreed to acquire Cisco's home networking business, including its Linksys brand, earlier this year.
