Yotaphone release date, price and specs: The dual-screen smartphone

Everything you need to know about the dual-screen Yotaphone

The Yotaphone is a dual-screen smartphones from Russian manufacturer Yota. Here's everything you need to know about the Yotaphone including release date, price and specifications.

If you're using a smartphone with just one screen, then you might feel that it's somewhat inadequate. Yota says the YotaPhone is "the first 'always-on' premium Android smartphone with a liquid crystal display on one side and an electronic paper display on the other".

Yes, you did read that correctly. The Yotaphone has a regular LCD screen on the front and a second e-ink display on the back. Because the second screen is e-ink, it can display information without consuming battery. It can display notifications, emails, tweets, and other information - not just books.
