New Zealand-headquartered crime analytics software vendor, Wynyard Group, has won a three-year contract to manage Tatts Group’s governance, risk and compliance (GRC) program.
Tatts Group is an Australian lottery, wagering and gaming company. Its brands include Tatts, Golden Casket, NSW Lotteries, SA Lotteries, TattsBet, MaxGaming, ByteCraft, and Talarius.
As part of the agreement, Wynyard Group will implement its Risk 9 enterprise management software platform to offer threat assessment, risk management, and compliance monitoring with operating procedures, policies, regulations, and legislation.
Risk 9 systemises and automates the methods and processes used by customers to manage risk by identifying particular events relevant to its objectives or operations, assessing their magnitude of impact, determining a response, and monitoring progress.
According to Tatts chief auditor and projector sponsor, Maree Patane, Wynyard’s risk management software will allow Tatts to identify and assess risk under its own management system.
“Effective corporate governance and management of compliance-related risks has become increasingly critical for organisations carrying out financial transaction activities,” Patane said.
“Wynyard’s solution is highly configurable and will enable us to holistically visualise, monitor, mitigate, test and audit the spectrum of compliance controls across the business.”
Other Wynyard customers using the risk management software include Queensland Rail, Dubai International Airport, and Lloyd’s of London.
