Launches new software and partnerships for emerging business

Xero has launched new accounting software designed specifically for startups.

Xero for Startups is designed specifically for firms in the initial stages of development.

The accounting software provider has also partnered with Fishburners, Australia’s largest technology incubator, to offer all startups within its community free six month subscriptions to Xero.

Xero has also announced a number of other partnerships with startup organisations such as: League of Extraordinary Women, a group for female entrepreneurs; Startup Grind an event for connecting entrepreneurs in Melbourne and Sydney; and That Startup Show, a web series focussing on Australian startups.

League of Extraordinary Women general manager, Chiquita Searle, said “The startup community within Australia is thriving and it’s initiatives like this from Xero which will assist entrepreneurs, such as our League members in growing a bigger and better business”

Xero said the software is the platform of choice for high-growth technology startups.

It claimed the automation and simplification of accounting tasks and the availability of business insights enables entrepreneurs to make fast and effective decisions.
