Spanning Cloud Apps has partnered with Fronde to bring the Cloud backup and recovery firm’s Service-as-a-Service (SEaaS) to Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
The Texas-based company said the partnership meets the growing demand from Australian and New Zealand businesses for additional protection against data loss as they adopt SaaS applications such as Google Apps and Salesforce.
The system is designed to give customers an extra layer of protection to mitigate risk of data loss caused by user error, hackers or system error and to improve business efficiency.
New Zealand-based Fronde said it sees the Cloud-to-Cloud backup service as a natural extension of its Cloud product portfolio.
Fronde chief technology officer, James Valentine, said A/NZ companies are moving to the Cloud faster than anywhere else on the planet.
“This means greater importance must be placed on offering clients a comprehensive backup and recovery solution to protect their essential corporate data.”
