Kogan drops Agora 4G price, launches 4G+

More memory and a better 13 megapixel camera

Online retailer Kogan has dropped the price of its Agora 4G smartphone following the unveiling of the Agora 4G+.

The 5-inch Agora 4G has dropped in price by $20 to $209. The BenQ-manufactured smartphone has a 1280x720 display, a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel rear camera.

The Agora 4G launched at $229, which at the time made it the cheapest 4G smartphone in Australia.

Upgrades to the Agora 4G+ are the result of “large amounts of customer feedback”. The new smartphone comes with double the RAM at 2GB, an improved 13 megapixel rear camera and double the internal storage at 16GB.

Kogan is selling the updated Agora 4G+ for $239, with both of the 4G smartphones available now in black and white.

The original Kogan Agora 4G smartphone rated well in Good Gear Guide’s review.
