The securities of Australian owned and operated ASX listed hardware distributor, Dicker Data (ASX:DDR), have been placed in a trading halt, according to a statement the company released on the ASX.
The securities have been placed in trading halt at the request of the company, pending the release of an announcement.
“Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt session state until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on August 4, 2015 or when the announcement is released to the market,” the statement read.
The trading halt follows Dicker Data’s recent announcement of the launch of its latest initiative to support its partners in the delivery of Cloud solutions, CloudPortal.
The company has been an active player in the channel in recent times, having been signed on as an authorised Intel distributor in Australia and launching a fresh logo as it retires the Express Data brand across the A/NZ region.
