Enterprise security vendor, Blue Coat has revealed an Endpoint Alliance ecosystem.
The ecosystem was developed to allow endpoint security solutions to be shared with the entire Blue Coat portfolio, which enhances a user’s protection, detection and response to incidents.
The founding members under the Endpoint Alliance Ecosystem includes Bit9 + Carbon Black, Countertack, Digital Guardian, Guidance Software, Promisec and TripWire.
According to Blue Coat, endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies provide a new level of visibility and control on the endpoint.
EDR solutions include a variety of endpoint technologies ranging from application protection and privilege management, whitelisting, execution isolation and comprehensive visibility and control.
