Cloud integrator, HubOne Enterprise, has appointed Roland Leggat as its new director and chief technology officer.
The company said, in a statement, that the appointment follows its expanding success in the Australian marketplace.
“We are delighted to welcome Roland to HubOne. Following the enormous success of our small business solutions for Cloud, Roland brings a gravitas to our enterprise business establishing us as a serious player,” HubOne founder and CEO, Nick Beaugeard, said.
Beaugeard added that HubOne Enterprise will be focusing on helping customers adopt the new benefits of the Cloud and working with them to adopt new practices, such as activity based working. He claimed Leggat will be involved in this process.
“I’m excited to be leading this new initiative. Over the last several years I have been helping Microsoft partners make the move to the Cloud and now have the opportunity to lead my own division to deliver value to customers,” Leggat said.
Leggat brings to HubOne more than 25 years’ experience working across three continents. Prior to HubOne, he served at IT services company, Computer Systems Australia as its productivity platform portfolio manager. He was in this role for two months.
Before his stint at Computer Systems Australia, he worked at Microsoft as its technology strategist focused on developing Microsoft partners by building capability and capacity in Cloud Computing. He was in this role for more than four years.
He also had two years’ experience in Microsoft as a partner readiness consultant before he was promoted to the technology strategist role. Some of his former work stints also include a tenure at Dimension Data.
