M2M Connectivity partners with Cradlepoint to offer 4G/LTE networking solutions
Machine to machine communications company, M2M Connectivity, has announced plans to offer Cloud-based 4G/LTE networking solutions from network solutions company, Cradlepoint.
According to M2M, the partnership with the US wireless networking company will allow resellers to supply solutions for increasing Internet of Things (IoT) and machine to machine (M2M) demands in enterprise and SMB, spanning across verticals such as business, retail, hospitality and transportation.
Cradlepoint announced this partnership marks its plans to extend its presence within the A/NZ region.
The partnership announcement has succeeded the launch of Cradlepoint’s AER3100 solution.
Cradlepoint said the addition to its wireless WAN (WWAN) platform enables an all-in-one networking and security solution with dual-modem multi-carrier support, integrated Gb Ethernet switch with POE, 802.11ac 3x3 Wi-Fi, and Unified Threat Management (UTM) capabilities.
“The ability to deploy a single, Cloud-delivered, wireless connectivity platform at the edge can increase redundancy and the ability for businesses to maintain reliable, secure connections with headquarters and customers,” Aberdeen Group senior research analyst, Jim Rapoza said.
