Compass and Broadband Solutions attempt to speed up schools

Partnership gives $18,000 credit towards the Compass platform for new schools

Education technology company Compass, has partnered with internet service provider, Broadband Solutions, to give schools across Australia access to its school management platform.

Schools across the country that sign up to new BroadBand Solutions’ internet services can access a pool of up to $18,000 that can be accredited towards the platform.

According to both companies, the Compass management platform through BroadBand solutions enables network traffic between the school and Compass to run on the same network, resulting in faster and more reliable service.

“We understand that the digital classroom is placing unprecedented demands on school network infrastructure. Our services already help schools across the country access the bandwidth they need at highly competitive price,” said Broadband solutions managing director, Sam Bashiry.

“Our approach to Internet bandwidth management focuses on the school’s temporal needs. Network administrators can modify bandwidth limits, based on usage, to ensure costs are kept at an absolute minimum and that available bandwidth is always capable of supporting all devices on campus.”
