Network monitoring vendor, Paessler AG, has seen steady growth across A/NZ, experiencing a sales increase of about 21 per cent in the past year.
In less than three years, it has seen its regional sales grow 71 per cent. Some of the factors that have contributed to its growth momentum include an increasing number of resellers, sustained reseller sales growth and a revamped partner program.
The vendor’s product PRTG Network Monitor can be purchased directly or via its reseller community, which involves more than 105 partners across A/NZ. It also has a distribution arrangement with Dicker Data.
PRTG provides businesses with the data and information they need to gain a holistic view of what is happening on their IT infrastructure and make effective business decisions.
Last year Paessler revealed a new monitoring-as-a-service option for managed service providers. It offers the benefits of the PRTG Network Monitor with a simpler licensing model.
Paessler AG APAC sales director, Andrew Timms, said he was highly focused on educating the channel and new partners about the services revenue opportunities available to them and how they can enhance a customer’s IT infrastructure.
“All of the partners that I’ve met are aware of network monitoring and are familiar with that space, but they’re not so aware of the opportunities that unified monitoring brings," he said.
Paessler will be demonstrating PRTG’s possibilities at Cisco Live in Melbourne on March 8-11.
