ASX-listed ASG Group has secured a two-year deal with the Australian Bureau of Statistics to help provide an enterprise data management environment.
The deal is expected to contribute more than $10 million in revenue in the next two years.
Based on Oracle technologies, ASG will provide a specialised solution for the Bureau, which will heavily feature big data and analytics skills and technology.
The deal is part of the ABS’ statistical business transformation program to help standardise processes, modernise infrastructure and transform its services model to provide support for policy formulation, development, evaluation and research.
ASG CEO, Geoff Lewis, said the company has one of the largest enterprise analytics practices in Australia.
“This is our first engagement with the ABS and we are confident that this is just the beginning of a valuable, long-term partnership,” Lewis said.
