Melbourne-based distributor, Synnex, is offering Razer gaming peripherals to its partners after securing a deal with the vendor to offer its products in Australia.

Terms of the deal will see Synnex distribute Razer’s gaming products, which include keyboards, audio products, mice, controllers, mouse mats, and accessories.

Synnex Australia product director, Jay Ko, emphasised the importance of gaming products to the distributor’s volume-based sales model.

“Razer is a well-recognised brand for Australian gamers," Ko said. "Synnex looks forward to working with Razer to ensure broader availability of the latest Razer peripherals through a well-planned distribution strategy.”

Razer SVP of sales and marketing, Mike Dilmagani, said the gaming market in Australia was a key area the company had invested in due to its potential for growth.

"With Synnex, we now have a more streamlined process and a closer relationship with the retailers, which means our fans can also find the newest Razer products they want on retail shelves in a much timelier fashion,” he added.

Razer enters the Synnex product portfolio alongside competitors such as Corsair, Logitech, Steelseries and Gigabyte.

In Australia, Synnex is one of the country’s largest distributors of gaming-related products.
