Ingram Micro to distribute Kramer Electronics’ solutions in A/NZ

Partnership inked to work with a broader reseller base

Pro audio and video vendor, Kramer Electronics, has signed on Ingram Micro to distribute its solutions in A/NZ. The company will be distributing the entire solution set of Kramer Electronics, including its recently launched Kramer Network modular enterprise software platform.

Ingram Micro A/NZ professional AV general manager, Andrew Upshon, said the company’s professional AV division will work with Kramer to broaden the company’s presence with Ingram’s channel partners, delivering a wide range of products and services to help resellers deliver integrated AV and IT convergence solutions.

“We are very excited with our new partnership with Kramer in the A/NZ region," he said.

"Over the last few years, Ingram Micro has developed a fast growing AV business and Kramer’s products perfectly complement our existing AV portfolio of more than 25 brands.

“The timing is excellent with Kramer’s new strategic shift towards AV and IP convergence and we are looking forward to a strong partnership in this fast changing market."

According to Upshon, in addition to growing demand for professional hardware, it expects the recently released Kramer Network to be huge hit with resellers.

“Kramer Network is an enterprise software platform that lets IT or AV managers configure, route and control any IP or legacy AV device, room environments, and IP streams across any size AV network from anywhere in the world.

“We are confident that resellers will see the range of opportunities it presents and jump at the chance to take this solution to their customers,” Upshon added.

Kramer Electronics A/NZ managing director, John Ungerer, said the company wants its solutions to be a core part of Ingram Micro’s AV solutions for customers.

“Signing up Ingram Micro as a distribution partner has been a milestone for Kramer and an important step to grow our business and reach into markets that we have not been able to address before,” he mentioned.
