Oracle’s former managing director for A/NZ, Ian White, has joined the board of Oracle partner, PrimeQ, set to strengthen the business by delivering a wealth of insiders knowledge to the Adelaide-based start-up.
During his eight-year tenure at the software giant ending in 2013, White was responsible for more than 80 acquisitions into the business and witnessed extensive growth within the A/NZ region, delivering annual revenue exceeding $1 billion.
He currently serves as Apttus vice president for Asia-Pacific.
“Ian’s appointment firmly positions PrimeQ as the Oracle provider of choice across Australia and New Zealand,” PrimeQ CEO, Andrew McAdams, said.
Since launching in early 2016, PrimeQ has a market valuation of $15 million, 13 major contract wins and a workforce racing towards the 200 mark. The company is also now hurtling towards a mid-2017 listing on the Australian Stock Exchange, on the back of achieving forecasted first year revenue of $10 million.
“We’ve already invested heavily to employ the most experienced Oracle professionals in this part of the world, assisting our clients to achieve savings, make efficiencies and build better businesses through the Cloud,” McAdams added.
“Ian’s intimate knowledge of the Oracle business and its cloud solution products will help to inform and drive our strategy. This will ensure our team can continue to innovate and create enduring value on our customers’ behalf.”
PrimeQ currently works with Parliament of Victoria, Australian Container Freight Services, Queensland University of Technology, Home Repair, Fulton Hogan and Australian Vintage to name a few.
“We have had some big brands sign with us, so we just have to remember to keep our feet on the ground and keep the organisation concentrated, humble and focused,” McAdams told ARN in January.
At the time, he added that Oracle applications across transportation management, supply chain and logistics are set to play out strongly in the year moving forward.
