Zebra Technologies has set its sights on Australia as the first port of call for channel partners to sign up to its new Enterprise Asset Intelligence (EAI) Accelerator Program.
The new global program is effectively a technological incubator that teams up an elite group of developers and designers with technologists and product leaders at Zebra Technologies, which specialises in enterprise-level data capture and automatic identification solutions.
One of the core aims of the program is to prepare partners for the rollout of Zebra’s EAI Data System, the company’s platform for enabling next-generation solutions.
The platform and its services are fundamental building blocks for delivering EAI data-driven solutions that sense at the edge of the network, analyse, filter, and transform the data to enable intelligent applications and actionable insights at the point of decision.
The EAI Data System comprises Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities, such as device connectivity and management of edge devices – both Zebra and third-party devices.
At its core, big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence will transform data into intelligent information and APIs for easy integration into end-user applications.
“The program has been developed to enable the selected participants to collaborate with our team to co-develop EAI data-driven solutions and applications,” marketing and business director in Zebra Technologies’ Chief Technology Office, Adebayo Onigbanjo, said.
“It is open to all independent software makers and technology innovators with a desire to build digital solutions for the enterprise,” he said.
The EAI Accelerator Program is a beta program, aimed at providing partners with an opportunity to explore the various business models that are possible for Zebra and its channel ecosystem.
Selected participants will receive access to Zebra resources and services during the six-month program period, as well as the potential joint marketing, publicity and thought leadership activities.
Zebra Technologies claims that participants will also be well-positioned to achieve new revenue models and market opportunities when the EAI Data System is fully developed.
