Aussie software provider expands international footprint

Melbourne-based Sinefa opens first overseas office in the US

Melbourne software company, Sinefa, has expanded its presence overseas with an office in San Francisco, US.

Sinefa was established in 2011 and specialises in network traffic management solutions currently servicing 20 countries. The company counts on rhipe as a distributor for the Asia-Pacific region.

The company first entered the US market in the beginning of 2017 and the new office will support the growth the company has experienced in the region.

This growth is thanks to local customers such as TOURtech, who provides temporary network solutions, VoIP services and targeted public Wi-Fi for temporary events including Coachella, Lollapalooza and iHeartRadio.

"We don't have much time to set up our networks, nor do we have the luxury of time to deeply analyse or troubleshoot when problems pop up,” TOURtech CEO and founder, Allen Cook, said.

“The greatest benefit Sinefa provides is that it works whether you are highly technical or not, whether you are in the field or in the office. As soon as we power Sinefa up, it's performing the functions that we need it to, which we could not find anywhere else."

According to Sinefa CTO, Chris Siakos, organisations don’t want to wait minutes, hours or days for network performance reports.

“Our customers immediately experience pervasive real-time traffic insights to drive decisions and enable immediate action,” Siakos said.

Siakos will head the US operation and will focus on expanding the team, technology alliances, new market development, as well as building upon its ecosystem of channel partners.

"Opening a North American office is the first step in our plan to grow our global footprint, demonstrating our desire to be closer to our customers and partners," Sinefa CEO, Con Nikolouzakis, said.

"We've seen fast adoption of our solution in the enterprise and communication service provider markets, and we’ll be leveraging strategic partnerships with leading tech companies to penetrate further into the US, as well as accelerate our growth into other global markets."

In June, Sinefa closed a a strategic partnership with rhipe.

As part of the agreement Sinefa is available as part of rhipe’s Indirect Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, alongside a number of targeted business solutions from ISVs that can help partners build differentiated offerings to SMB and enterprise customers.
