LiveTiles and Microsoft have a launched a new program to help Australian partners lift their artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and deployment opportunities in the market.

Called the AI Spark Partner Program, it aims to help partners accelerate the deployment of AI solutions in enterprise organisations, spanning many industry sectors.

The first wave of Australian Microsoft partners have already signed up including Veritec, Velrada and Engage Squared. Microsoft and LiveTiles are aiming to sign up the first 10 AI Spark partners in Australia in the next three months.

The program will be launched in Australia first, before going global to US and then Europe, providing partners with access to Azure-based AI and cognitive services to develop intelligent solutions.

LiveTiles, which is an ASX listed software company, headquartered in New York, developed its product suite using Microsoft Azure based technologies with little or no coding requirements for the customer, in order to help them build ‘smart’ solutions. The LiveTiles Bot can be used by partners to build on, co-brand or white label.

“Australian businesses are now striving for intelligent transformation and they want to control their own digital destinies, using tools that allow them to take an intelligent DIY approach, and develop sophisticated solutions without the need for coding,” said Karl Redenbach, CEO of LiveTiles.

"Through this new partner program, we expect to help accelerate AI adoption within the enterprise."

Microsoft Australia managing director Steven Worrall added it was an important opportunity for Microsoft partners and helps democratise access to intelligence.

“The AI Spark program has been designed to equip participating partners with the skills and vision that will make them AI-ready and primed to help drive intelligent transformation for their enterprise customers,” he said.

In Australia, LiveTiles is already working with a number federal and state government departments, aviation, education, financial services and professional services organisations.

Recently, at Microsoft Inspire, Microsoft One commercial partner vice president, Gavriella Schuster, showcased LiveTiles Bots with a custom built ‘Ask Gavriella’ bot created with Australian-based partner, Velrada.

In May, LiveTiles acquired employee profile and directory management software company Hyperfish for $8.9 million.

“Hyperfish will enable us to extend the LiveTiles intelligent workplace platform to deliver exciting new capabilities to current and future LiveTiles customers,” Redenbach said at the time.
