Synnex Australia is ramping up its gaming product portfolio through the addition of gaming PC cases and components vendor, Fractal Design.

The deal sees the distributor carry Fractal Design cases, power supplies and all-in-one coolers and fans; offering additional gaming-built solutions to the channel.

Synnex Australia product and marketing director, Yu Chen Liao, said choosing the right case will serve resellers well through multiple PC builds.

“Fractal Design chassis are versatile, with great enclosures and thermal performance," Liao said. "Other factors like good airflow is key for your gaming system to perform efficiently as is minimum noise output."

Fractal Design vice president of global sales, Jen Harnisch, said the partnership allowed them to work together to offer a wide range of cases, coolers and power supplies to the Australian market.

Synnex recently launched its technology-as-a-service (TaaS) offering to the channel in partnership with Microsoft, Lenovo and HP across Australia.

Terms of the roll-out will allow partners to offer packaged solutions spanning hardware, software, licensing, managed services and cloud subscriptions, through "one single monthly bill, one log in, one payment and one check out".

The distributor also rolled out an Apple configure to order (CTO) platform to existing and new partners in Australia, allowing the channel to easily configure and purchase solutions online.
