Optus Business has landed a multi-year partnership deal with private health hospital group Ramsay Health Care, to supply digital network and communications services.

The value of the deal hasn’t been disclosed, but will cover more than one million patients and 30,000 employees that will use the voice and high speed data services across the country.

Ramsay Health CIO, John Sutherland said the deal would provide critical connectivity for key areas enhancing doctor’s connectivity, patient experience and hospital performance.

“Technology, connectivity and digitisation is transforming the way we all access healthcare and we look forward to working with Ramsay to advance their critical services and future business growth,” Optus Business managing director Simon Vatcher said.

This marks the second largest customer win for Optus in the past couple months after previously revealing it was partnering up with NBN Co to supply digital network and communications services for supermarket retailer Coles, which previously worked with Telstra.

Under that deal, Optus will deliver high-speed data services to more than 2,400 stores that will enable Coles to implement future digital strategies and improve customer service levels.
