Cirrus Networks has been awarded a $5 million contract with the ACT government.
The three-year deal will see the publicly-listed provider offer support and maintenance of the government’s existing Cisco SmartNet system.
Cirrus told shareholders the services will be provided both through a combination of Cirrus’ Preferred Partner Support and Vendor direct support models.
The latest contract brings the provider’s contract wins to a total of $14 million since 1 July.

The win is hot on the heels of another government contract win for Cirrus, having scored a three-year contract to provide storage services for a unnamed Federal Government agency in January.
Its most recent half year results saw the provider post a net profit after tax (NPAT) of $135,000, a bounce-back after the previous period's loss. At the same time, its revenue hit $45 million.
Cirrus has also revealed its unaudited financial results which did not include profit but the company stated it was expecting record earnings for the 2019 financial year of $1.8 million.
Revenue is expected to grow 18 per cent to $88 million due to managed services revenue growth of 91 per cent. Product revenue was lower than expected due primarily to some significant contracts delay.
Staff count has also seen growth in the past years. Back in 2016 the company employed 50 people, this number is now at 182 as of July.
