The Wipro-designed lab contains technology provided by Automation Anywhere.
Robotic process automation (RPA) software vendor Automation Anywhere has partnered with IT services outsourcing giant Wipro to provide technological solutions through the Melbourne-based Wipro Automation Lab.
Designed by Wipro, the lab utilises various workplace technologies – such as digital workforce, cognitive automation and workflow and analytics technologies – provided by Automation Anywhere.
Located in Wipro’s Melbourne office, skilled users and recent graduates are allowed to use the lab, where certification programs in automation technologies are available.
Automation Anywhere’s products and demos can be used by visitors and Wipro and Automation Anywhere representatives can assist visitors that require specific automated solutions.
Manog Nagpaul, senior vice president and business head of Asia Pacific and Japan at Wipro, said the lab brings technological solutions to the region.
“The lab will be home to state-of-the-art products matched with some of the best industry developers to help customers understand, see, touch and feel how automation can change their business landscape,” Nagpaul said.
Tim Ebbeck, senior vice president and managing director of Automation Anywhere A/NZ, said the partnership would help create solutions for businesses interested in integrating more technology into their processes.
Wipro's partnership with Automation Anywhere began in 2014 when the outsourcing giant became an Automation Anywhere platinum business partner.
Automation Anywhere has recently acquired Klevops to improve its RPA model.
