UXC Limited will be continuing on its path to consolidate its offices around the country after officially launching its newly consolidated Canberra office.
ACT Chief Minister Katy Gallagher, officially opened the new office, which includes UXC Connect, UXC Consulting, Eclipse, Oxygen and Red Rock units under one roof.
It contains more than 300 staff including project managers, strategy consultants, ITSM consultants, communications engineers, technology consultants, business analysts, sales and solution architects.
UXC stated 32 per cent of its business comes from the government sector.
UXC Limited managing director, Cris Nicolli, told ARN no staff will be impacted by the office consolidations.
“It allows us to move from disparate offices that we’ve had in the past into one location in each city,” Nicolli said. “It won’t reduce staff numbers, but it will allow for a better integration between our businesses.”
Melbourne is next on the agenda in September followed by South Australia in the next few months and eventually Sydney, which is about a year away, Nicolli said. The company recently consolidated its Western Australia and Queensland offices.
“One location does speed up the collaboration process between our people. Hopefully it will give us an ability to be more responsive to complex customer requirements and give our people broader knowledge of what other parts of the company does,” he said.
