Juniper Networks and Aerohive Networks have partnered in a bid to make headway into the enterprise Cloud market.

The networking companies have collaborated to deliver Cloud-managed wired and wireless solutions to distributed enterprises spanning retail, education and government verticals.

The agreement includes the pairing of Aerohive Cloud Wi-Fi solutions with Juniper Networks’ switches, network management, and security solutions. The companies said the initiative aims to simplify networking planning and deployment for enterprise.

Juniper Networks corporate vice-president, switching and security products and solutions, Denise Shiffman, said the alliance allows the delivery of a wired and wireless solution that can help enterprise evolve and move to Cloud-enabled networks.

Aerohive said by deploying its 802.11ac Wi-Fi access points with Juniper Networks EX Series Ethernet Switches, Junos Space Network Director and Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways, customers can achieve a scalable and secure wired and wireless solution.

Aerohive vice-president of business development, Bill Hoppin, said, customers prefer the flexibility, scale, and cost advantages they get with Aerohive’s cloud enabled Wi-Fi partnered with leading third party switch vendors like Juniper Networks over more restrictive bundles.
