AtlasPlato is executing on plans to bring business intelligence to the boardroom through the appointment of co-CTOs, spanning both New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria.
The specialist start-up - founded by Andrew Thomas - has recruited the expertise of Martin Eriksson and David Gulli to run services from Sydney and Melbourne respectively, in a bid to drive further growth across Australia.
The double hire sees the business deepen expertise across DevOps, API, cloud transformation, cyber security and artificial intelligence, backed up by an expanded alliance with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Launched to the market in February 2017, AtlasPlato is a consulting firm focused on developing data-driven organisations, partnering with customers from the public, private, and not for profit sectors.

Eriksson comes on-board from Thomas Duryea Logicalis, having spent more than nine years at the technology provider, as consultant architect and solutions architect for three and six years respectively.
Leveraging infrastructure expertise, Eriksson spent the past 12 months consulting and leading teams on end to end, large scale transformation projects within the enterprise.
“We want to drastically change and disrupt the mid-market by providing customers a consulting firm that is truly customer obsessed and focused on outcomes,” Eriksson said.
“This is born out of seeing too many IT companies out there selling archaic products over outcomes, just to meet their number.”
Meanwhile, Gulli joins AtlasPlato from Versent, following 11 months as principal consultant for the Melbourne-based cloud specialists.
Prior to this, Gulli was CTO at Thomas Duryea Logicalis for 16 months of an almost four year stint at the provider, with a responsibility for the development of technical strategy, go-to market framework and reference architecture.
During this period, Gulli developed and launched two practice redevelopments and reference architectures, in the form of Modern Workspace and Hybrid Infrastructure.
“For far too long, there been far too many mid-market consulting firms more concerned with their bottom line, selling their customers yet another archaic product over delivering true outcomes and customer successes,” Gulli added. “With AtlasPlato, we want to disrupt this way of thinking.
“We will show our customers there is truely a better way of achieving their goals through our Insight Accelerator methodology, our technology partners such as AWS and modern ways of rapidly delivering outcomes using DevOps, DevSecOps and DataOps.”
