StorageCraft is attempting to entice channel partners by offering rebates on sales as part of a new partner program.

Under the banner of Partner Success Program, the initiative is designed to provide partners with rebates for the first time, in addition to larger up-front and tier-based discounts and  commissions.

As part of the revamp, the vendor has rebranded its previous top-three-tier system from platinum, gold and silver to elite, premier and certified partners.

The tiers’ criteria will be based on partners’ investments, technology certification and revenue generated, with tier-dependent rebates ranging from up to three per cent for premier partners and five per cent for elite.

“Rather than type-cast partners into a box, we have constructed the StorageCraft Global Partner Success Program to be highly flexible and modular so they can create tailored and differentiated solutions and services around their business model,” said Marvin Blough, vice president of worldwide sales at StorageCraft.

“This way, we ensure they can successfully service and profit from every aspect of the business continuity category.”

Meanwhile, in an effort to boost partner financial security, StorageCraft will now offer a $100,000 recovery guarantee in the event of a technological failure, plus a three per cent return of the deal value when a registered lead is lost to a channel competitor.

In addition, the vendor said it would make its marketing development funds more broadly available to the top three the partner levels, doing away with its previous proposal-based program.

Partners will also now be able to manage their billing, training, pricing, marketing, MDF, SPIFF tools and information through one single portal, overhauling the previous multi-platform system.

The changes follow the vendor’s launch of its new data management platform offerings, OneXafe and ShadowXafe, across the Asia Pacific region last month.

StorageCraft currently counts on ACA Pacific, Dicker Data and Soft Solutions as its distributors across Australia and New Zealand.
