Synnex Australia has inked a distribution deal for the Asia Pacific region with print management software provider PaperCut.

The partnership will see Synnex distribute PaperCut’s NG product, which allows entities to manage and control printing through tracking and quotas on any printer or operating system.

Forged following two years of discussions, the partnership will allow Synnex to bundle PaperCut NG and Chromebooks together for its reseller network.

“PaperCut is a proven solution, especially strong in education and has been around for a very long time. We are now bringing PaperCut NG to the channel to open up exciting new opportunities for our partners and print vendors,” said Michael Tea, Synnex Australia general manager of e-commerce and cloud services.

Founded more than 20 years ago, PaperCut specialises in document capture solutions for education, commercial and the enterprise sector and has bases in the US, London and Melbourne.

“Synnex’s channel will be able to introduce PaperCut NG with Chromebook opportunities helping customers from day one,” said Adrian Lowe, PaperCut Asia Pacific channel director.

“Our PaperCut application is already helping over two million Chromebook users today and our partnership with Synnex will allow us to help many more.”
