UK-based laptop trolley vendor, LapCabby, is expanding into the Australian and New Zealand (A/NZ) market through a new distribution agreement with local company, ASI Solutions.

ASI selected LapCabby due to its diversity, enabling schools to select trolleys specific to their requirements.

“I have been looking for this type of solution to add to our already competitive educational strategic solution as we know mobile deployments (mobile device management or bring-your-own-device) will be huge in 2013 to 2014,” ASI international product manager, Justin Lowe, said.

“It is important that every teacher and student can store, charge and sync their devices during the day and night. Teachers often need to rollout apps over night to all devices and also to share devices in the school if necessary during the day.”

As the sole distributor for the product in the region, ASI will manage all distribution and services for LapCabby’s product portfolio.

This includes working with A/NZ resellers which support schools in order to maintain pace with the growing technology rollouts across the education sector.

The distributor will also offer Australian technical support through its head office service desk, and will manage A/NZ warranty.
