Dicker Data has signed a new partnership with Microsoft, qualifying it as an authorised original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and full packaged product (FPP) distributor in Australia.
The agreement targets the local small to medium business (SMB) sector, and will see Dicker Data sell the vendor's OEM and FPP software and services.
"As well as being able to offer our customer base full access to the latest Microsoft OEM and FPP software, devices and services, we will be able to pass on to our resellers the considerable advantaged that being an Authorised Distributor for Microsoft affords," Dicker Data chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman, David Dicker, said.
According to Microsoft Australia OEM director, Renee Gamble, this includes the ability for resellers to participate in the vendor's channel incentive programs through which rebates can be learned by reaching certain purchase levels for the products.
Dicker Data will commence distribution of products under the new Microsoft Authorised Distribution Agreements immediately.
